URBAN VIEWS
A city offers the beauty of a landscape created by people, places that have developed some character and texture with use and time. Born in San Francisco, living in Paris for nine years and in Washington DC for three, I have had the great luck to live and travel in many cities thick with the layers of history.

For several years in the 1980s, I had a fine art silkscreen studio in a loft of an old warehouse in a gritty section of San Francisco’s Mission District, surrounded by lots of colorful people and situations. I’ve enjoyed many opportunities to experience and absorb the richness and patterns of urban life.
